Master crafters in Lesheba held decades of knowledge in traditional wood carving but lacked the pedagogical tools and structure to train younger generations effectively.

ART AID developed a Train-the-Trainer programme that helped master carvers codify their methods and share their knowledge through structured mentorship. The project included leadership development, teaching strategies, and creative facilitation.
Master carvers became cultural educators, ensuring their skills and stories are passed on with pride and precision.
