Art You Can Taste
A sensory-rich exhibition where artists explored their favourite recipes through visual art, storytelling, and shared meals — curated as part of the Innibos National Arts Festival.
Culinary tradition is rarely treated as a cultural artefact. Recipes live in memory but not always in art, leaving a gap in how everyday culture is documented and celebrated.

ART AID invited 25 artists to reflect on a recipe close to their heart. These recipes became the foundation for new works of art — from paintings and installations to poetry and sculpture. The exhibition experience included live tastings, bridging food and art in one shared space.
Blending art and food, the exhibition transformed personal recipes into visual works, deepened emotional connections through shared experiences, and elevated culinary heritage as a powerful form of cultural storytelling and community building.
